You can get a bit spoiled with all the various numbers and stats that continue to be thrown at us with how many people turn on the television sets or streaming devices to watch Ohio State football. Well, we have another one that’s noteworthy for you.
According to a media release from FOX, Ohio State’s game against Wisconsin was the most watched college football game of the weekend on any network. That includes Michigan against Notre Dame and LSU vs. Auburn on the ESPN family of networks.
According to the release, the game in Columbus drew a 4.6 metered overnight rating. For comparison’s sake, that’s more than the Red River Rivalry (4.3) a couple of weekends ago.
As Ohio State continues to keep itself right in the running for the race for the College Football Playoff this year, you can only expect these ratings to rise.
