Ohio State vs. Northwestern Friday night will now be aired on BTN, here’s why

As if this whole Friday Night Lights experiment wasn’t wacky and wild enough, you can now add another ingredient to what’s baking in Evanston this weekend.

Ohio State had been set to take on Northwestern Friday night at 8:30 PM on FS1, but there is now a glitch in the scarlet and gray matrix thanks to Major League Baseball. The game telecast now has to move because of the postponement of the ALCS game four contest between the Houston Astros and New York Yankees that has been postponed because of weather.

As a result, game four will be moved to Thursday night, with game five being pushed to Friay night. You can see where this is headed, no?

Yes, it will air on FS1, meaning the game between the Buckeyes and Wildcats needs to shift somewhere … anywhere. If only FOX owned stake in a network that televises Big Ten athletics. What? You say they do? Well then. Problem solved.

It is now official, the game will be aired on BTN at the same time, and of course the same place.

Mark your calendars — and most importantly — your DVRs appropriately.
