Ohio State vs. Minnesota B1G Tournament semifinal postponed until Sunday

The rematch will have to wait.

Ohio State lost to Minnesota earlier today to set up a rematch that will determine who plays in the Big Ten Baseball Tournament championship game. The game was supposed to take place Saturday night, but the weather and father time had other ideas.

Citing weather and curfew issues, the Big Ten has decided to play the game Sunday at Noon instead. The winner between Ohio State and Minnesota will then play Nebraska who disposed of Michigan 7-3 earlier tonight. The winner of that game will be Big Ten Tournament Champions.

Here is the complete and brief release from the folks at Ohio State:

Due to predicted severe weather/curfew restrictions, the Ohio State-Minnesota semifinal game at the 2019 Big Ten Tournament has been postponed. The two teams will play the elimination game beginning at Noon ET Sunday at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb. The winner of the game between the No. 7 seed Buckeyes (33-25) and No. 4 seed Golden Gophers (29-26) will play in the Big Ten title game against the winner of No. 2 seed Michigan-No.5 seed Nebraska. The Big Ten title game will begin one hour after the conclusion of the Ohio State-Minnesota game.

The game will be televised live on BTN and can be heard on the radio on AM 1460 ESPN.
