Here we go with the last non-conference game of the year for the 2019 Ohio State football team. One more tune-up if you will before things really start to heat up. But don’t tell the Miami Redhawks that. They have designs of coming into the ‘Shoe and making life difficult for the No. 6 ranked team in the country.
As we do every week, we asked some of our Buckeyes Wire contributors to provide some predictions for the game and to give a short synopsis on why they feel that way. Here’s what they all had to say.
The Redhawks aren’t expected to be more than a slight breeze against the Ohio State machine, but that’s why they play the games.

I see this going a lot like last week. The Ohio State defense should dictate things on that side of the ball, while the offense jumps out early against a team that’s simply outmatched and outmanned. It won’t be pretty, and there will be plenty of opportunity for mop up duty in the second half.

The Bucks will score early and often taking a sizable lead into halftime before giving way to the reserves midway through the third quarter. Justin Fields and JK Dobbins will lead the way once again, but their numbers may not look as gaudy as the first three games with a bigger lead and less playing time.

Buckeyes are gaining confidence and Miami is simply overmatched. This will be over by halftime and reserves will put up 3 scores in the second half.

There’s no looking ahead to Nebraska, but even if there is, the Buckeyes would be perfectly fine. Fields continues his impressive start, Dobbins gains 100 yards plus. Easy win.
