Did we tell you before that Ohio State turns on television sets? If you want more proof, how about the media release by FOX Sunday. According to the FOX PR Department, the Buckeyes contest against Indiana was the most-watched game on any network this Saturday.
That includes the night games on the ESPN family of networks and a 3 OT thriller between Michigan and Rutgers. Granted there were a whole host of games canceled or postponed, but that’s getting it done. Not only was the game the highest-rated on Saturday, but it was FOX’s highest-rated of the season so far.
Of course, the game had several things going for it. It was a top-ten matchup, it got all of Buckeye Nation tuning in, and the game tightened up at the end so it got some eyeballs on it hoping for Indiana to pull off the shocker.
The Columbus, Cleveland, and Indianapolis market led the way. No surprise there.

By the way, we love the fact that the Detroit market was tuning in as the No. 5 overall. Michigan fans are looking for any kind of catnip they can get these days, even if it involves rooting against Ohio State hard.
