Ohio State thinks it’s cute that Florida and LSU are arguing over what program is DBU

SEC titans LSU and Florida are all set to take part in a top ten matchup this weekend in Baton Rouge, and things are beginning to get heated.

If you’ve followed things on Twitter or the wide world web, then you know the two programs like to go tit for tat on which school is really DBU. In other words, which program can boast about being the best at producing top-shelf defensive backs?

Well, with such a huge game on the doorstep, the two are at it again — or rather — the SEC Network is trying to stoke the fires again on the debate.

There’s only one problem with that? Ohio State has just as much claim to that title as any program. In fact, the Buckeyes were named DBU lately by a piece ESPN produced. The same ESPN that the SEC Network is a part of (contradict much?).

The official Twitter page of Ohio State football was not about to let a graphic shared Friday go without correcting the record. Well, it wasn’t so much a correction as an omission. But never fear, the fine folks at Ohio State added some stats to it for everyone, just to clear things up.

And yes. As you can see, Ohio State leads in every single category the SEC tried to highlight for the Gators and Tigers. So far there’s no response from the SEC Network, but fans in sweet tea and grits country are in an uproar.

Get your popcorn and make your way through the thread. It’s pretty entertaining.
