Ohio State target Roger Rosengarten eliminates Ohio State in announcement of final two schools

Ohio State has lost out on one of its offensive line targets for the 2020 class. According to his announcement on Twitter, 6-7, 275lb. offensive tackle Roger Rosengarten has narrowed his list of schools down to Oregon and Washington. That means Ohio State is out of the mix for the 18th rated offensive tackle in the class according to 247Sports.

It’s certainly a bit of a hit for the Buckeyes, but it doesn’t come as that much of a surprise based on the way things were trending. Rosengarten is from Colorado and it was always thought that he wanted to remain closer to home, and that looks like what’s going to happen. Oregon still appears to be the leader to land his services.

OSU will now move on and focus more efforts on other offensive lineman targets in the class.
