Ohio State target Roger Rosengarten apparently with big announcement set for Saturday

We don’t know exactly when, but at some point Saturday, Ohio State 2020 target Roger Rosengarten will have a “big-announcement” according to his Twitter feed. Of course, the thought is that it’ll be the communication of a verbal commitment to his program of choice, but we’ve been surprised before by recruits trolling folks and sending out other somewhat big announcements.

At 6-7, 275 lbs., Rosengarten is ranked as the No. 18 offensive tackle and No. 204 rated prospect in the class according to 247Sports. The offensive line — and most notably the tackle position — has been one of emphasis during this recruiting cycle for Ryan Day and staff, and there’s no doubt they’d love to land the kid from Littleton, Colorado.

To do it though, it might be a bit of an upset. There’s a pretty good consensus that Rosengarten is high on the Oregon program. He’s also shown a good deal of interest in Washington as both are closer to his home state. However, he was in Columbus on a visit in March and the Buckeyes are still in the mix.

As any announcement is made today, we’ll be on top of it.
