It’s another week of dominant play, and another week of the Ohio State football team being stuck at No. 3 in the latest Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
At this point, there appears to be a clear line drawn between the top three teams and everyone else, barring what we see from Notre Dame against Clemson this upcoming weekend. Clemson remained No. 1 and Alabama No. 2 as they have been for weeks now.
You have to wonder though (at least I did), why the Tigers weren’t penalized at all for the close shave against Boston College over the weekend. I know, I know, many fans will point to the fact that Clemson was without quarterback Trevor Lawrence due to a positive COVID-19 test, but do you think Ohio State would have been given a pass with that type of showing? Backup QB or not?
Regardless, the rest of the top ten behind those three teams include Notre Dame (4), Georgia (5), Cincinnati (6), Texas A&M (7), Florida (8), BYU (9), and Miami (10).

The big one of course this week that could shake things up is the game in South Bend between the Irish and Clemson.
