The season may not have ended on a high note for the Ohio State softball team, but it’ll get another chance to extend things and make some damage this postseason. That’s because Ohio State has been selected as an at-large selection to the NCAA Tournament, and will play in the Knoxville regional.
This makes four-straight years the Buckeyes have made the NCAA Tournament. They have yet to make it out of the first round, but have the pitching and hitting this year to make life difficult on the group of four teams heading to Tennessee.
In the region along with Tennessee and Ohio State are North Carolina and Longwood. The Buckeyes will open up against the Tarheels on Friday.
