Ohio State secures nine first-place votes in Week 10 FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll

The Ohio State Buckeyes may have been in third place in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Week 10 poll, but they did amass nine first-place votes, showing that voters have confidence in the Buckeyes.

Louisiana State and Alabama topped the poll yet both received only 17 first-place votes. Clemson, who annihilated their way through the playoffs last season, is in fourth place with a mere three first-place votes.

These four certainly look like the four best teams in the nation, so this comes as no surprise.

With No. 2 Alabama vs No. 1 LSU along with No. 3 Ohio State vs No. 5 Penn State coming up in the next few weeks, there is destined to be some changes in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll so stay tuned.

After those five, Georgia, Oregon, Oklahoma, Utah and Florida round out the top ten. This is similar to the AP Poll yet for the fact that the NFF Super 16 has Oklahoma over Utah.

As for the Buckeyes, as long as they win out, they’ll easily be in the College Football Playoff with a chance to prove some of those doubters out there wrong.

Let’s just hope Ohio State keeps rockin’ the next few weeks all the way into a shot at some hardware.
