Ohio State safety Jordan Fuller named finalist for William V. Campbell Trophy

All the watch lists that came out in July and August are starting to get shortened down. We’ve seen Chase Young, Jeffrey Okudah, and Justin Fields make it through the elimination process, and just Wednesday, an announcement came from the folks at the National Football Foundation that Ohio State safety Jordan Fuller has been named one of twelve finalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy.

The trophy goes to college football’s top scholar athlete annually. Fuller currently has a 3.6 grade point average and is active in social causes in the community.

The winner of the award will be announced on December 10 at a banquet in New York City. Each finalist will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship, but that will be increased to $25,000 for the winner.
