Ohio State has run the table through the first 13 games of its 2019 season. A look at how the Buckeyes kept their mark unblemished and demolished a series of opponents in the process.
Ohio State 45, FAU 21

Justin Fields, who saw limited action as a freshman last season sitting behind Jake Fromm at Georgia, threw four touchdown passes and ran for a score in his first game for Ohio State, leading the fifth-ranked Buckeyes over Florida Atlantic. The Buckeyes score on their first four possessions, including a 51-yard run by Fields.
Ohio State 42, Cincinnati 0

Justin Fields passed for two scores as No. 5 Ohio State dismantled Cincinnati in Luke Fickell’s return to Ohio Stadium. Running back J.K. Dobbins rushed for 141 yards and pair of touchdowns — all in the first half. He came back for one play in the third quarter and threw a beautiful block to spring Fields on a 4-yard touchdown run.
Ohio State 51, Indiana 10

Ohio State opened the Big Ten schedule by routing Indiana. J.K. Dobbins ran for 193 yards and one touchdown, caught one of Justin Fields’ three touchdown passes and watched most of the second half from the bench as the sixth-ranked Buckeyes blew out the Hoosiers. The Buckeyes have won 24 in a row against the Hoosiers. Their 41-point victory margin was the largest in the series since 2006, and it was the most lopsided road win for the Buckeyes in a series that dates to 1901.
Ohio State 76, Miami (OH) 5

Justin Fields threw four touchdown passes and rushed for two more scores in the second quarter alone before taking a seat. All-America defensive end Chase Young delivered two sacks, both of which led to Miami fumbles that the Buckeyes recovered. Young has recorded seven sacks.
Ohio State 48, Nebraska 7

Justin Fields threw for three touchdowns and ran for another, Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez was intercepted on three of the Cornhuskers’ first four series, and the Buckeyes turned in their most impressive performance of the season. Nebraska didn’t go over 100 yards of total offense until late in the third quarter, just before its only TD.
Ohio State 34, Michigan State 7

Justin Fields threw two touchdown passes and plunged in for another score as the Buckeyes overcame an inauspicious start to roll. J.K. Dobbins rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown. Fields was sacked and intercepted for the first time in his college career, but engineered enough explosive plays to help Ohio State bury the Spartans.
Ohio State 52, Northwestern 3

Justin Fields completed 18 of 23 passes for 194 yards. The sophomore transfer from Georgia matched his career high for TDs through the air with four against the Wildcats. Blake Haubeil kicked a 55-yard field goal that tied the second-longest in the history of the storied program.
Ohio State 38, Wisconsin 7

J.K. Dobbins rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns, Chase Young was nearly unblockable with four sacks and No. 3 Ohio State routed No. 13 Wisconsin. Young tied a school record for sacks in a game, including two strip sacks that led to fumbles recovered each time by linebacker Pete Werner.
Ohio State 73, Maryland 14

Ohio State’s 73 points were the most the school has scored in a Big Ten game since scoring 83 vs Iowa in 1950. It was the Buckeyes’ second-highest point total in a Big Ten game in the AP Poll era began in 1936. Maryland, a team that gave the Buckeyes headaches last season was no trouble this time, even as Ohio State was without the fierce pass-rushing of Chase Young. The preseason All-American was suspended the day before the game while Ohio State investigated a possible NCAA violation involving a loan.
Ohio State 56, Rutgers 21

Justin Fields threw for a career-high 305 yards and matched his best with four touchdown passes as Ohio State romped. Rutgers took the opening kickoff and turned the ball over twice in his first four plays from scrimmage, helping stake Ohio State to a 14-0 lead and the rout was on.
Ohio State 28, Penn State 17

Ohio State held on after Penn State took advantage of two second-half turnovers to climb back in the game after trailing 21-0. The Buckeyes were clinging to a 21-17 lead early in the fourth quarter when Justin Fields threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Chris Olave to create some breathing room. Ohio State got an interception from Justin Hillard before shutting down two late Penn State drives on fourth down. The last drive included back-to-back sacks of backup quarterback Will Levis by Chase Young and linebacker Baron Browning.
Ohio State 56, Michigan 27

J.K. Dobbins ran for four touchdowns and Justin Fields threw four TD passes, providing plenty of firepower for Ohio State to rout Michigan for a school-record eighth straight win in the series. “It feels great just to continue the legacy of this great Ohio State tradition,” defensive end Chase Young said. “We’re just going to try to keep it moving and keep it rolling next week.”
Ohio State 34, Wisconsin 21

Justin Fields threw three touchdown passes in the second half, J.K. Dobbins ran for 172 yards and a score and Ohio State sealed its first playoff trip in three years by shutting out Wisconsin in the second half in the Big Ten championship game.
