Ohio State punter and water bottle flipper extraordinaire, Drue Chrisman, has decided to take his skills to the NFL. Chrisman made the announcement on Twitter this evening that he would not take advantage of an extra year of eligibility he could have used because of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, he’ll be trying things in the NFL.
Chrisman will be missed on the field as he became one of the top punters in the nation, especially at getting the ball to check up inside the 10-yard line. He’ll also be remembered for completing a pass to Luke Farrell on a fake punt in the 2019 Big Ten Championship game that gave the Buckeyes the spark they needed while trailing Wisconsin 14-0.

As good as Chrisman was on the field, he was just as entertaining off of it. The OSU punter became a quasi-celebrity for his social media stunts. Most memorable was his water bottle flipping world record while raising over $14,000 for wildfire relief.
