Ohio State players in the 2019 NFL Draft: Terry McLaurin selected in 3rd round by Washington Redskins

Terry McLaurin is about to chase his childhood dreams. That’s because the 6-1, 205 lb. wide-receiver was selected by the Washington Redskins in the 3rd round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Truth be known, there’s several analysts and experts that thought McLaurin could go earlier after making a name for himself by being the best player at the Senior Bowl, and then in subsequent meetings and workouts with NFL teams.

He ran a super-fast 40-time at the NFL Combine, runs sharp and crisp routes, and has worked hard to make himself into an NFL receiver. More than perhaps anything though, he is a humble, high-character type guy with a football IQ second to none.

He’ll go over the middle or get separation down the field, and now he gets reunited with the quarterback he caught passes from at Ohio State, Dwayne Haskins. McLaurin is also a blue-collar guy that will block down the field.

There could be something special brewing in the passing game in our nation’s capital.
