Ohio State players in the 2019 NFL Draft: Nick Bosa picked at No. 2 by San Francisco 49ers

The first Buckeye player is off the board at the 2019 NFL Draft, and it went pretty much according to plan, as the 49ers took the former Ohio State defensive end with the No. 2 overall pick.

Bosa was widely considered as the No. 1 overall pick on most big boards for the 2019 NFL Draft. He has exceptional explosiveness off the line, is as strong as an ox and uses his hands and technique well off the line.

He had a setback with injury just three game into his junior year but looked 100 percent and ready to go at the NFL Combine. His bloodlines run deep in the NFL with his father and brother both having success in the league, and he has a chance to be an immediate-type impact player day one.

He’s been tagged as a “generational player” by some NFL suits. He could be a future All-Pro and maybe more. That’s why you take a guy this high.
