Ohio State players in the 2019 NFL Draft: Isaiah Prince selected in 6th round by Miami Dolphins

Ohio State’s anchor at left tackle has been taken by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Along with Michael Jordan, it makes the second Buckeye offensive-lineman to go in this year.

At 6-7, 310 lbs., there’s no denying Prince has the size and measurables to make it in the NFL. He’s been a four-year starter in Columbus, and although there were struggles early on in his career, he improved immensely through 2017 and 2018.

He shuffles his feet well, but will need to clean up his discipline that lacked at times at the snap. He ended the 2018 season as an All-Big Ten First Team selection and started a total of 41 games in his career on the Banks of the Olentangy.

If there’s one position a late round pick can rise and impress, it’s offensive line, and Prince could be just what the doctor ordered in Miami.
