Ohio State pausing voluntary workouts after latest COVID-19 testing

In a bit of breaking news, Bleacher Report writer Adam Kramer reported on Wednesday night that Ohio State will be pausing all voluntary workouts following the latest round of COVID-19 testing at the University.

This is fairly substantial since it indicates that a large amount of positive test results were likely uncovered, and the Buckeyes were slated to start mandatory team workouts in five days and start team practices in less than a month.

Another important aspect to consider is that the Ohio State athletes who returned for voluntary workouts were required to sign a waiver absolving the University from any legal recourse if any athlete contracted the Coronavirus while back on campus.

This is a major story as there is still plenty of question marks surrounding this upcoming football season and a major outbreak in a Big Ten school could have large impacts on the Big Ten football season, and the college football season in general.
