Ohio State has had a whale of a season so far in 2019. Maryland, not so much. Sure, there was the annual, hopeful look early on when the ‘Terps were looking explosive through the first couple of games, but since then things have fallen off more than a couple of unlatched earrings.
After a week off, the Buckeyes host Maryland for a Noon affair this Saturday in the ‘Shoe and we have our first look at the odds put out on the game by BetMGM. It’s a big one folks.

Wait for it … Ohio Sate has opened as a -42.5 favorite over the Maryland Terrapins. We’re not sure how that equates in the history of games for the Buckeyes, but we know that’s the biggest spread so far in 2019.
I have air miles to use that aren’t that astronomical.
But if you think that’s a wide gap, wait until the odds come out next week for the contest against Rutgers. It could be even larger.
