The Ohio State men’s tennis team has had a fantastic start to the season, starting out 9-0 in dominating fashion. And now people are starting to take notice. The Buckeyes received the No. 1 ranking in the latest USTA Rankings.
It also checked in at No. 2 in the ITA Tennis rankings and just received the No. 1 seed heading into the National Indoor Championships in Chicago this weekend.
Ohio State is coming off a dominating 5-0 win over No. 5 USC and is on a roll as it heads into the tournament this weekend.
With J.J. Wolf, the Buckeyes currently boast the No. 2 player in the country in singles and have five more ranked in singles along with two of the doubles teams. This all according to the latest ITA Rankings.
Ohio State has as good a shot as anyone in winning the whole thing in the Windy City this weekend.
