Ohio State men’s hockey to host open house Saturday, August 24

This just in from the fine folks from The Ohio State hockey program. It will be hosting a free open house for fans to come meet the 2019-2020 Buckeye hockey team this Saturday, August 24.

Here are complete details from the release, including on how to purchase tickets. So, if you’re looking for something to do this weekend, mark your calendar and spend some time with a hockey squad that should be set up to have a fantastic season once again.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The defending Big Ten champion Ohio State men’s hockey team will host an Open House from 3-5 p.m. Saturday in The Schottenstein Center. The event is FREE, with FREE parking. Fans will have a chance to meet 2019-20 Buckeyes, among other fun activities.

The ice will be available for fans to skate. Fans can bring their own skates, or rent for $3 a pair (rental quantities are limited).

Each fan who attends will receive a free ticket to one of the Buckeyes’ games in their series vs. Omaha. The matchup with the Mavericks, slated for Oct. 18-19, opens the Buckeyes’ regular season home schedule.

Activities at the Open House will include a photo booth, photos with the Zamboni outside the arena and more.

Single game, miniplan, group and full/half/quarter season tickets for the Buckeyes’ 2019-20 season are all on sale now. They can be purchased at the Open House, online (HERE) or by contacting a ticket sales representative by calling 1-800-GO-BUCKS (select option 2) or emailing AthleticSales@osu.edu.
