Ohio State men’s hockey sweeps weekend series with Wisconsin with 4-1 win

The Ohio State men’s hockey team won its seventh-straight game tonight, sweeping another weekend series by beating the Wisconsin Badgers 4-1. It continues to run away and hide atop the Big Ten hockey standings.

Dakota Joshua got the scoring started for Ohio State with 9:00 left in the first period, both Tommy Parran and Miguel Fidler added a tally in the second period, and Mason Jobst added an empty-netter for the total tally. The Badgers added one goal late, but it was too little and way too late.

The Buckeyes now improve to 19-5-4 overall and 12-3-3-2 in the Big Ten. They next play a two-game set against Minnesota at home next weekend.
