Ohio State men’s basketball Big Ten matchups for 2019-20 announced

The season may have just ended for the latest college basketball season, but we’re already getting some glimpses into the 2019-20 season that will be here before you know it.

As a reminder, the Big Ten went to a twenty game conference schedule for the first time last year, and it’ll continue to do so for the foreseeable future. It allows for more teams and separation in the conference to crown more of a justified regular season champion, but it’s still not enough games for each school to play each other twice.

Case in point; Ohio State and Michigan only played once last year, and it was a game to forget for the Buckeyes in Ann Arbor.

No dates for these games have been set yet, but we now know which teams the Buckeyes will only face once vs. the ones it’ll have a home and away against.

As you can see by the graphic, Chris Holtmann’s new toys will play nice in the sandbox twice with Michigan this year, as well as Minnesota, Indiana, Penn State, Maryland, Wisconsin, and Nebraska.

Ohio State faces off just once with Iowa, Michigan State, and Northwestern on the road, and will host Illinois, Purdue, and Rutgers at home without a return date.

The Big Ten looks to be a juggernaut again next year, and this is a tough yet fair schedule for Ohio State to try and navigate. We’ll have more at Buckeyes Wire as more is shared in regards to the schedule.
