Ohio State made the cut for the top eight of four-star cornerback Henry Gray according to a graphic and release on his Twitter feed.
Gray, at 5-11, 172 lbs. from Miami Central, is rated as the No. 4 cornerback in the country, and No. 52 rated recruit overall according to 247Sports.
The other seven schools listed in the top eight are Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Penn State, and Florida. Many of the crystal ball predictions have him in a dead heat between Miami and Ohio State right now, but there’s plenty of time for that to change.
The Buckeyes have cherry-picked Florida often when it comes to defensive backs, and Gray could be the next one. There’s no further timeline given for a decision, but we’ll stay on top of the list as it gets paired down, and as Ohio State continues to work on the 2020 class.
