This entire college basketball season has felt like a two-team race between Gonzaga and Baylor. The Bulldogs are entering the tournament undefeated after a regular season that included a loaded, un-Gonzaga-like schedule.
So, with that in mind, it would be a totally reasonable — if not expected — move to select Gonzaga as the team that will cut down the nets in Indianapolis. But doing so would be ignoring what history has told us.
