We’ve already gotten the same result from the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports. OK, I get it. Ohio State didn’t exactly make the impression it needed to against a top ten Indiana squad. Still, it was a win over a top ten team right?
Regardless, on national television, the Buckeyes’ perception took a hit, and they didn’t move up at all in the latest AP Top 25 College Football Poll, holding steady at No. 3 right behind Alabama and Notre Dame. For the first time this year, we have a team taking all the first-place votes with Tide getting all 62 of them.
It has now been several weeks since the Buckeyes have had any movement in the two major polls. But it really doesn’t matter because the College Football Playoff Poll is what counts, and we’ll get the first look at those initial rankings on Tuesday.
Behind the big three trio and rounding out the top ten include Clemson (4), Texas A&M (5), Florida (6), Cincinnati (7), BYU (8), Oregon (9), and Miami (10).
