Ohio State hosts 2019 Special Skills Football Invitational

The Ohio State football team might be in the throws of its last week or so of summer dwindling away before fall football begins at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, but Thursday some of the took part in the seventh annual Special Skills Football Invitational.

The camp, held since 2013 with the support of Urban Meyer, allows for kids with special needs to go through drills under the guidance of current football players and coaches. Drue Chrisman, Jeremy Ruckert, Master Teague, and Jordan Fuller are just some of the players that entertained over 250 kids as a part of the event.

It’s another example of the program reaching out and being a part of an important part of the community in which provides it with so much support. It’s something that Ryan Day felt important to carry on into his time at Ohio State.

You can get a look at some of the video and highlights of the fun time all seemed to have thanks to a video shared by Ohio State Football.
