Ohio State has three players appearing on ESPN’s All-Bowl team

Have you come to grips with the college football season being over yet? It’s true, well — at least aside from a few all-star games. This bowl season was another fantastic one with some memorable performances by individuals and teams. Of course there was also some heartbreak and frustration mixed in for those that had their season end with a loss.

Despite it all, Ohio State still had some remarkable performances. ESPN is reflecting upon bowl season and has come out with its All-Bowl Team for the end of the 2019 season. As you would expect, there are some OSU players as a part of all the fun.

Running back J.K. Dobbins and offensive lineman Wyatt Davis made the all-offense team, while cornerback Jeff Okudah got the nod for the all-defensive team.

Here is what ESPN said about each of the three players.

RB: J.K. Dobbins: A midgame injury slowed what was already a spectacular day for Dobbins in the Fiesta Bowl. Despite that, he finished with 221 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.

OL: Wyatt Davis: The right guard was outstanding, helping pave the way for 196 rushing yards and 5 yards per carry — both the most Clemson allowed this season — in the Fiesta Bowl.

CB: Jeff Okudah: The junior more than held his own against Clemson’s stellar receivers (none of them had more than 47 yards), broke up two passes and had five tackles (four solo) in the Fiesta Bowl.

Congrats for all three for an outstanding performance in the Fiesta Bowl.
