FOX Sports Joel Klatt is quickly becoming the favorite college football analyst of Ohio State fans. Ever since he’s seen the Buckeyes play this year, he has been rather bullish on all things scarlet and gray. Recently, he listed them in his top three, and eventually placed them in a virtual tie with Alabama and Clemson for the best team in the country — so far.
Now he’s gone even a step further and has officially put Ohio State on the top of his board as the team that “has no weaknesses,” and is the No. 1 college football team of 2019 because it has looked better than anyone else.
Now, of course this is all just opinion, but who can blame Klatt? The Buckeyes are the only team in top three in the nation in scoring defense and scoring offense, have looked fantastic on special teams, and are administering public floggings to all teams they’ve played so far.
The competition will increase dramatically however as Ohio State steps into conference play all the way, and there’s certainly a big on on tap for Saturday on the road against Nebraska. Because of that, some believe the jury is still out.
