Ohio State has another huge matchup on deck when it hosts the top ten Iowa Hawkeyes Sunday. The Buckeyes have lost two straight games and its status as a No. 1 seed is fleeting. There’s still the opportunity there with games against Iowa and Illinois, and then the Big Ten tournament, but OSU needs to get back on the winning track.
One of the reasons OSU lost to Michigan State Thursday had to do with forward Kyle Young being out because of concussion protocol. What he means for this team doesn’t always show up in the box score, but there was a noticeable difference in how disjointed Ohio State looked in East Lansing.
Inquiring minds of Buckeye fans then want to know if Young will be back for the game against the Hawkeyes, and it appears as though there is at least a chance. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, head coach Chris Holtmann has informed him that Young is a game-time decision.

It must be noted that Iowa will be without key bench player Jack Nunge due to a season-ending knee injury as well. Here’s to hoping that Young can go, and if not, that OSU can find a way to get the job done at home.
