We’re still waiting to see what Ohio State’s 2020 football schedule will look like, or if we’ll even have a college football season, but that hasn’t stopped the online sportsbook BetMGM from updating its national title odds.
The usual suspects are still there with the Buckeyes, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia with the four best odds to win it all, but in a bit of a curious move, OSU’s odds have worsened just a wee-bit.
Back in March, Ohio State had the second-best odds at +300 behind only Clemson at +225, but now those odds have been adjusted to +320. It’s not a marked difference, but a difference nonetheless. We can only assume the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in some adjustments to the numbers with Alabama being the benefactor.
Clemson is still the favorite at +250, but the Tide have closed the gap, now up to +400 from +450 in March. Behind Alabama is Georgia (+1200), and both LSU and Florida at +1400.

Of course you can enter your own disclaimer here about what the season will look like, but as long as we get to see football in Columbus there’s a good chance that Ohio State will be in the thick of some pretty special things again in 2020.
