Class of 2020 cornerback and a top target for Ohio State, Ryan Watts III, has committed to Ohio State per an announcement on his Twitter feed.
Watts made a visit to Columbus just a couple of weeks before de-committing from Oklahoma, and it looks like that was the writing on the wall everyone thought. With the news, the Buckeyes should be done with what looks like a very impressive secondary for the 2020 class.
Out of Little Elm, Texas, the 6-2, 187 lb. Watts is the 19th best cornerback in the country and a top 300 national recruit according to 247Sports. He’ll join a class that already has four-star defensive back prospects Clark Phillips III, Lathan Ransom, and Lejond Cavazos.
Ohio State’s 2020 class currently ranks as the No. 3 class in the country, and the best in the Big Ten.
