Ohio State football highlights all that’s good in Columbus for recruits

Columbus may have a college or two situated in its city limits, but it is far from a college town. Those that live in Central Ohio or have visited know it well. It’s only those that listen to stereotypes and haven’t set foot in the Buckeye state that think it’s all corn fields and cows.

To that end, the Ohio State football team released a video on its official Twitter page that highlights all the good things the Capital city of Ohio has to offer. From good food, to parks and recreation, to shows and festivals, Columbus is a thriving city that potential recruits can get behind. In fact, it’s really a bit of a unique experience, having such a blue-blood of the sport situated smack dab in a top fifteen city population-wise in the country.

There’s no NFL team, and despite the Columbus Bluejackets modest success and fan support over the last couple of seasons, it’s still an Ohio State town first and foremost.

Come to Ohio State, and be a big fish in a big pond with plenty of fun and excitement to be had. Watch the below and enjoy all that is Columbus. And while you’re at it, send it to a recruit or two …
