Folks, football is starting back up. There’s no surer sign than the fall camp schedule of practices and interview sessions being release to the media, and that’s just what we had happen Friday.
For starters, fall camp will officially begin on Friday, August 2 at 9:30 AM, with the Buckeye team moving into its hotel for the duration of camp on the evening of August 5. The first day of classes will begin on August 20, with practices then beginning at 4:30 PM all the way through until the season begins.
Some more details about camp:
- All practices will take place at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
- Practice dates are Aug. 2-3-4-6-7-8-9-10-12-13-14-15-16-17-19 (all start at 9:45 a.m.).

Fri., Aug. 2 – Coach Day & select players
Sun., Aug. 4 – Coach Yurcich and QBs; Coach Barnes and Specialists
Tues., Aug. 6 – Coach Day
Thurs., Aug. 8 – Coach Studrawa and OL; Coach Johnson and DL
Sat., Aug. 10 – Coach Day
Wed., Aug. 14 – Coach Day & Coach Mattison
Mon., Aug. 19 – Coach Day, Coach Hartline and WRs; Coach Hafley/Barnes and DBs
Wed., Aug. 21 – Coaches Alford, Wilson and Washington, and respective RBs, TEs and LBs
There will of course be other media availability made possible as it permits all the way through camp, with the season kicking off on August 31 at Noon in the ‘Shoe against Florida Atlantic.
