Believe it or not, Senior Bowl practice has begun down in Mobile, Alabama. That means we’ll start getting some video and information on what players are impressing. There are five Ohio State players looking to impress scouts and NFL types by taking part in all the fun in a one last-ditch effort to be a part of practices and a game setting against some all-star type competition.
One of those guys is defensive end Jonathon Cooper, and according to some interested observers taking part in all the practice and formalities occurring, he is impressing. In fact, according to one media member, Cecil Lammey of FootballGuys.com and local Denver radio, he has been the best pass-rusher in the National Team practice to date.
We don’t have video of what Cooper is doing yet, but as soon as some surfaces, we’ll be sure to bring it to you as well as the other Buckeyes’ doing their thing down in Alabama.

Not bad for a guy that didn’t get enough credit for what he meant to Ohio State. All you have to do is look at what Terry McLaurin did a couple of years to go to understand that guys really can improve their standing with the decision-makers in the NFL with a good showing during the Senior Bowl festivities.
