Ohio State commit Marvin Harrison, Jr. to play in All-American Bowl

This is getting ridiculous.

Ohio State now has its eleventh confirmed participant in January’s All-American Bowl and it comes in the form of a wide receiver with a bit of a pedigree. Marvin Harrison, Jr. has officially accepted an invitation to take part in all of the festivities in San Antonio (whatever that will look like in the COVID-19 pandemic world).

At 6-foot, 3-inches and 190-pounds, Harrison is of course the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison. He plays on the same St. Joseph’s Prep team as fellow Buckeye QB commit Kyle McCord and is ranked as the No. 21 receiver in the 2021 class, and No. 115 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

With eleven participants in the All-American Bowl, that surpasses Ohio State’s record of nine participants from last recruiting cycle.

And they said Ryan Day couldn’t recruit at the same level as Urban Meyer. I know one thing — it should be a hoot to watch this game with so many future Buckeyes performing athletic feats on the gridiron in the Lone Star state.
