Ohio State commit Gee Scott shows his potential at The Opening Finals

After receiving 20 offers, Gee Scott Jr., a four-star wide receiver, committed to the Buckeyes. That may have helped Columbus also attract five-star receiver, Julian Fleming.

With these two leading the group, the Buckeyes Class of 2020 is stacked. Behind Fleming, the No. 1 overall receiver, and Scott Jr., the No. 13 overall receiver, Ohio State might just have the best receiving core in 2020.

That said, fans got a glimpse of just what Scott is capable of at The Opening. This was just one of the many videos that highlighted Scott’s sky-high upside.

As aforementioned, that was just one video. Here’s another of Scott going right at the nation’s No. 1 cornerback. Now, I’m not going to say he cooked him, but that would’ve been an easy touchdown if the ball was well-placed — or if there wasn’t some contact before the pass arrived.

Scott Jr., who was recruited by Brian Hartline, was one of the first players in the Class of 2020 to commit to OSU. After receiving offers from just about every major school in the Northwest, Scott decided to trade lattes and rain for bratwurst and snow.

Now, it’s time for Scott to put on the performance on top of 100,000 that Hartline knows he capable of, and these videos at The Opening are just the start of Scott’s potentially outstanding career in Columbus.
