It’s time to take a look at the popular USA TODAY re-rank of all the college football teams that Paul Myerberg champions every week. In the past, Myerber has been about as unbiased as you can find and normally gives due credit to Ohio State.
This year though, so far the Buckeyes can’t seem to crack the top two. Like most opinions in the strange and tragic year of the coronavirus pandemic, the teams that got the season off the ground early got some perception money in the bank. Alabama and Clemson put some tape out there and haven’t done too much to change it.
Meanwhile, Ohio State only has two games (albeit impressive showings) worth of football to impress media members. So, OSU remains at No. 3 in the latest re-rank behind Clemson and Alabama who remaining steady at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

Rounding out the top ten behind those three are Notre Dame (4), Cincinnati (5), Georgia (6), Texas A&M (7), Oregon (8), Wisconsin (9), and Florida (10).
