After a better-than-expected start to the season, Ohio State basketball has fallen on hard times in recent weeks. The Buckeyes dropped a heartbreaker to No. 1 Purdue and then inexplicably fell to two of the worst teams in the Big Ten in Maryland and Minnesota.
Things don’t necessarily get any easier as OSU heads to Piscataway to take on Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights are having a fantastic season sitting at 12-5 and tied for second place in the conference. On top of that, Jersey Mike’s Arena has been a tough place for opposing teams to win as the Knights have ten wins on their home court and only two losses.
