The Ohio State basketball team had a very productive week. It knocked off No. 7 Maryland on Sunday, then disposed of Nebraska on the road. The first was a major boost, the latter was the dodge of a bad loss, even though Big Ten road wins come about as often as coherent Jim Harbaugh press conference.
Despite it all though, the Buckeyes remain pretty locked in as a No. 6 seed when you look across the landscape of the major NCAA Tournament Projections.
We’ve been keeping an eye on some of the major ones, and here’s the latest run down from USA TODAY to Joey Brackets of ESPN.

USA TODAY Bracketology
USA TODAY continues to have Ohio State on the No. 6 seed line it’s had the Buckeyes on for a few weeks now.
Seed: No. 6
Region: East
City: Greensboro
Opponent: No. 11 Providence

ESPN Bracketology with Joe Lunardi
Joe Lunardi also still has the Buckeyes at a No. 6 seed since we last checked in. Unlike USA TODAY however, things have been improving. Just a couple of weeks ago, Ohio State was a No. 7 and No. 8 seed.
Seed: No. 6
Region: Midwest
City: St. Louis
Opponent: No. 11 seed Wichita State

CBS Sports Bracketology with Jerry Palm
Jerry Palm has adjusted Ohio State ever so slightly as well, now putting them also up to a No. 6 seed from what was a No. 7 seed recently.
Seed: No. 6
Region: West
City: Cleveland
Opponent: No. 11 seed Stanford

FOX College Hoops Bracketology with Mike DeCourcy
Mike DeCourcy is one of the few bracket analysts moving Ohio State up as an outlier. He now has the Buckeyes as a No. 5 seed after being one of the only experts plugging OSU in as a No. 7 seed last time we looked at things.
Seed: No. 5
Region: West
Opponent: No. 12 Stephen F. Austin
That rounds out our weekly late-season look at where some of the major bracket projections have Ohio State at the moment. Of course these things will change with the Buckeyes moving up and down a couple of seed lines as things move along.
For now though, things are looking pretty good and if you’ve been worried about Ohio State getting into the tournament, we can confidently say that ship has sailed. Barring a complete late-season collapse that would almost involve losing every single game from here on out, look you can rest assured OSU will be a part of all the fun come March.
