Ohio State basketball recruiting: 4-star shooting guard includes Buckeyes in top six

Ohio State basketball has yet to land a prospect in its 2020 class, but it’s still mining for talent in the year-round quest to bring in new Buckeyes to the basketball program. So, you can expect noteworthy news even with football season just around the corner.

On that note, a target Chris Holtamnn and company would love to land has just included Ohio State in his top six schools.

Eugene Brown, a four-star shooting guard out of Decatur, Georgia released his top six schools on his Instagram account and the Buckeyes are in the mix. The other schools included are Georgia Tech, Georgia, Louisville, Butler, and Texas A&M.

At this point, there doesn’t seem to be a lean towards any school — but as always — you would expect the Georgia schools to be the natural fit for a kid if he wants to stay close to home.

According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Brown is rated as the No. 24 shooting guard and 114th overall recruit in the entire class. There is no timetable for a decision yet, but we’ll stay on top of it if any further developments occur.
