The Ohio State basketball program has a very underrated history in the annals of the college hoop9s. From being in the top six of Final Four appearances, to a national title, to a slew of appearances in the Big Dance, several No. 1 seeds, and deep, deep runs during March, the Buckeyes are up there among some of the best in the sport.
Now that the calendar has officially hit the month of March, that means we’re about to see arguably the greatest American sports spectacle — another dose of March Mayhem. And with the season the Ohio State has put together so far, it is another lock to be a part of all the shenanigans coming to a television set or streaming device near you very, very soon.
So, we told you OSU has a long and distinguished history in college basketball, but it’s time to show you by going through the history of Ohio State’s complete NCAA Tournament history, starting with the first one ever played, all the way through 2019 before COVID-19 shelved the 2020 version.
