They may not have gotten picked for the McDonald’s All-American game, but two of Ohio State basketball’s 2019 recruits have been selected to the Iverson Classic rosters.
Five-star point guard D. J. Carton as well as four-star power forward E.J. Liddell are among twenty-four high school All-Americans players that will take part in the event. Both future Buckeyes will be teammates on Team Honor.
They are a part of a three-man top ten recruiting class for Chris Holtmann that will be arriving on campus this fall. The other member of the class, four-star forward Alonzo Gaffney will not be a part of the game.
The Allen Iverson Roundball Classic is taking place between the dates of April 24-26 with several NBA All-Star type of events, with the game occurring on the 26th.
There has yet to be a venue or time announced, but when it does happen, we’ll let you know.
