The Ohio State baseball team took care of business at home against Lipscomb in a tight 7-6 affair Sunday. With the win, the Buckeyes take the weekend series against the Bisons 2-1 and move their record back to .500.

The hero of the day was infielder Connor Pohl. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs including a big RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to push the lead to 5-3.

Starting pitcher Seth Lonsway got the win for Ohio State to improve his record to 2-2. He went six innings, allowing one earned run on three hits while striking out five and walking four.

Joe Gahm got his first save of the year.

With the win, the Buckeyes improve their record to 9-9 and will next be in action Tuesday at 5:05 PM against Northern Kentucky at Bill Davis Stadium.
