July 1, 2021 may go down as one of the most transformative moments in collegiate athletics. That’s because it was the first day in the history of amateur college sports that student-athletes could use their name, image, and likeness to benefit monetarily. Obviously, anytime before that was strictly prohibited by the NCAA.
And for a place like Ohio State that sits in one of the largest cities in the United States, there will be plenty of opportunities to land endorsements and cash in. In fact, some Ohio State athletes wasted no time rolling out the money-making machine.
Here are some of those NIL deals shared on Twitter that were rolling off the assembly line as soon as humanly possible, and others that are still trying to catch the eye of would-be endorsers.
We’ll start with Harry Miller because, well — props to him for putting this out there.

Nicholas Petit-Frere has teamed up with a recruiting technology company. We’re not sure exactly what it means, but it sounds pretty cool.

Haskell Garrett seems to have started his own business complete with a video. It’s really just a teaser though and we’ll have to wait to see what it all means.

Teradja Mitchell also started his own business with the “Above the Realm” clothing line. We don’t know what that means, but it sounds like it took some noodling to come up with.
We’re sure to see some more as we navigate these uncharted waters of name, image, and likeness, but it sure didn’t take long for some of this stuff to get out there. We’ll continue to share what catches our eye.
