Ohio State among favorites to win College Football Playoff according to BetMGM

We’re now seeing some of the college football odds start to include Big Ten teams again with football back in business for the fall. And that means Ohio State and some individual players are back in the fray at the top of some of those, especially with how talented the Buckeyes are expected to be in 2020.

The online sportsbook BetMGM is one of those betting sites that has updated its lines for these sort of things. We already told you where Justin Fields is among the Heisman favorites, and now it’s time to look at what the odds say about Ohio State winning the national championship.

According to BetMGM, the Buckeyes have the second best odds to win the College Football Playoff behind only Clemson. The Tigers are the favorites at +200, and OSU is just behind at +260.

Place your legal sports bets online in CO, IN, NJ and WV at BetMGM. Bet now! Here are the top nine favorites to take home the national title.

Clemson +200

Ohio State +260

Alabama +400

Georgia +1100

Florida +2000

Oklahoma +2000

Penn State +2500

LSU +3500

Michigan +3500

There are a lot of high expectations coming into this season both from the internal and external point of view. Ohio State has the talent to meet them all, but it’ll have to let it all hang out once the season starts with little room for error.
