Ohio State a No. 5 seed in ESPN’s updated, very early Bracketology

Yeah … I know college football season isn’t even quite here yet, but believe it or not, college basketball season is only about four months away. And with all the talent coming back, plus the highly publicized recruiting class already on campus, the 2019-2020 season promises to be a wild and fun ride in Columbus.

Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances are obtained on paper, but in the year long predictive cycle of big-time college basketball, all the bracketologists out there still like to have their fun.

One of the most well known and followed March Madness bracket prognosticators is Joe Lunardi of ESPN. He just released his latest bracket projections, and he has Ohio State in the field as a No. 5 seed in East. If you do the math, that would put the Buckeyes somewhere in the 17-20 ranking when the field is announced.

That’s not bad especially with the monster schedule Chris Holtmann and crew have put together but Buckeye fans have to be hoping for more during the regular season.
