There’s a big announcement coming Monday in the college football recruiting world. Five-star running back Kendall Milton out of Buchanan High School in Clovis, CA is all set to tell the universe where he plans to go to school.
Milton announced a final four of Ohio State, Georgia, LSU and Alabama back on May 17. Since then, he has visited every school beginning with the Buckeyes and ending with the Tide. He now appears ready to make the life-changing decision.
So far, Ohio State has not landed a big-time back for the 2020 class despite being in several prospects final schools. Of course the Buckeyes are still in the running for five-star running back Bijan Robinson as well as top 100 player Braylon Knighton, but until it happens, there’s still a hole in the class that desperately needs filled.
According to 247Sports, Milton is No. 4 running back and 22nd overall recruit in the class. He was reportedly blown away by his visit to Columbus, but that seemed to fade after he made his journey through the southeast. At this point — though there could be a surprise — Milton seems to be a heavy lean toward Georgia.
Either way, we’ll all know Monday. As soon as the commitment occurs, we’ll have the news.
