Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to react after Alisson Becker posted a picture on his Instagram story.
The Reds are sweating over the fitness of their Brazilian goalkeeper for the Monday night clash against Arsenal, with The Times reporting that the 27-year-old has been absent from training sessions in recent days with an unspecified problem.
Alisson has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world since joining Liverpool from Roma, helping the Reds win the Champions League and Premier League title in recent seasons.
Reports have claimed that the Brazil international faces a late fitness test ahead of the game against Mikel Arteta's Arsenal, with Adrian ready to deputise in the event he isn't ready.
But on Monday afternoon, some Liverpool fans noticed a post from Alisson on his Instagram account, and believe that the goalkeeper was hinting at his participation against Arsenal.
The goalkeeper uploaded a picture of himself in action during the Reds' 2-0 win over Chelsea last weekend, with the time and date of the Arsenal clash at the bottom.
The post was met by a series of excited messages from supporters, who are keen to see their number one start at Anfield on Monday night.
One tweeted: "He’s ready!" Whilst another posted: "Alisson has put this on his Instagram story. Surely he wouldn’t put this up if he wasn’t in contention to play? Here’s hoping."
A third wrote: "Alisson posting this on Instagram - indication he’s starting?"

Midfielder Thiago Alcantara is also reportedly a doubt for the clash against Arsenal, but speaking ahead of the top of the table clash with the Gunners, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp declared that he is happy with his squad and will not panic, despite injuries down the spine of his team.
Asked if that will prompt more signings, he replied: “I don’t expect a lot to be honest.
"You think you are well covered, and you cannot solve that in the transfer market.
“We have three absolutely top, top, top centre-halves, young players in line, Fabinho in hand if you want, and then all of a sudden three players are out for a few days and that is not nice.
“But you cannot solve that in the transfer market. That is just not possible.
"We will not even try if nothing more serious happens. I hope we don’t have to try that.
“If the situation stays like it is at the moment then no there will be nothing.
"All the rest we are in quite a good place squad wise and what the outcome will be I have no idea at the moment. We will see.”
