Arsenal made some major moves during the summer transfer window and one of those included signing William Saliba from Saint-Etienne for £27m.
Despite making the big-money switch to the Emirates, the 18-year-old was immediately loaned back to the French side for the 2019/20 season.
However, it turns out a recent groin injury for the defender has turned out to be somewhat of a blessing in disguise, with the teenager having the opportunity to join up again with Arsenal briefly before heading back to Europe.
Arsenal confirmed today that Saliba has been training at London Colney whilst recovering from the aforementioned injury and it's safe to say the announcement led to reaction aplenty from Gunners' supporters.
The defender was pictured with club legend Robert Pires and seen going through his paces in the gym.
Whilst Arsenal's start to the season has been reasonably solid, it's clear they could do with defensive reinforcements hence the signing of Saliba and many supporters would love to see the Gunners just simply keep the centre-back and cancel his loan.
Of course that's not possible as a key reason for the deal being done in the first place was inserting an agreement to loan him back to France. That hasn't stopped Arsenal fans providing the transfer demands below.
